Known for its architecture, creative industries, and advanced city of the future, Chicago has the potential to be a world leader for innovation. Chicago’s Creative Industries Future Forum will house global creative and innovative spaces which promote futuristic problem solving
solutions through specific creative means - performing arts, visual arts, multimedia, in addition to other creative industries. By identifying urban issues in a conceptual manner, this project aims to provide creative solutions
rooted in society through means of physical architectural forms.
This project takes from the concept of blurring boundaries with the program of a Chicago Public and Creativity
Center. By studying the patterns of human activity and demographics throughout the neighborhoods, with
knowing that there is geopolitical tension, this made us want to create new meaning by an attempt to create athird space. Blurring the boundary between architecture and the urban fabric, extending to the neighborhoods through the openness and enhanced connectivity within
the site.
